Hi there, I’m David Smith, also known as ‘Adult Biz Guru’ because of the work that I do and help I offer to those who work within the adult industry.

Adult Biz Guru - A Brief History...

On leaving school in 1985, I worked for 18 months as an apprentice photographer at Vala Studios, Fulham, London, where I had the chance to work alongside some of the worlds top photographers and with such models as Samantha Fox and Linda Lisardi, among many others.

Though after this my career went in a different direction (joinery, for the most part), photography always remained a great passion of mine and I have kept my finger on the shutter button ever since.

Then, along came the Internet and a whole new world opened up for me. I soon discovered 'Internet Marketing' and the potential to make a living from the new information highway and decided to take part. Being an early adapter and quick learner, it didn't take long before I was able to give up my day job and was soon earning more than enough to live very comfortably and have more leisure time on my hands.

With the onset of the digital-age and more free-time to fill , I began to experiment more and more with digital photography, videography and web design. I am now at a stage where I can produce very-high quality content using each of these mediums and offer them as services to everyone else. When a friend introduced me to AdultWork.com (a place for adult industry workers to advertise their goods and services) in the summer of 2006, I decided that from 2007, I would offer my services and skills to the adult industry workers there and everywhere else on the net. Thus, allowing me to continue exercising my passion for photography and my two new ones, videography and web design.
