The reason that I have given ‘Banner Design’ it's own page here, even though most would consider it a part of web design (my designs included banners as standard), is because you’ll actually be surprised at the amount of people who already have a website or use a third-party service like AdultWork.com and don’t even have or use a banner to advertise themselves with.

Banners are still considered to be one the most important advertising and marketing tools when it comes down to driving internet traffic to your site. You should use them to swap banners with other sites, add to ‘Top 100’ lists and also use them in your forum, chat and e-mail signatures whenever you get the chance.
